I start up the journey by going into the Gates of the underworld where you must weave your way through various switches to progress north bound. Once I complete the maze I battle skorne owning him with the rapid fire and three-way shot items. Basically I just favor the left side of the screen where I pluck away at his life, occasionally dodging fireballs that he spews in my direction. After a short confrontation I allow the ending to play through along with the credits of the game.
